Telehealth
Virtual appointments
Starting November 1st, 2026, to make life easier for you and your furry friends, we offer select Telehealth appointments. Telehealth appointments can be more convenient, cost-effective, and comfortable for you and your pet.
How Telehealth Appointments Work
Just like any in-person appointment, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and share your concerns. Depending on your pet’s needs, your Telehealth appointment may be a live video visit over Zoom, or you may share information, photos, or videos with your pet’s veterinarian through PetDesk or email. Your veterinarian will recommend the format that best fits your pet’s situation. To participate, you’ll need a device with a camera and internet access. Your pet must also have had an in-person exam with one of our doctors within the past 12 months.
How Telehealth Can Help Your Pet
Virtual appointments are particularly helpful for:
- Follow-up visits: Check in on your pet’s progress after a recent exam, illness, procedure, or minor injury such as a scrape or cut.
- Behavioral consultations: Talk through concerns such as anxiety, aggression, or changes in behavior.
- Medication follow-ups: Review how your pet is responding to a medication and discuss any adjustments.
- Ongoing care: Discuss nutrition, chronic conditions, or new areas of concern.
- Health certificate and travel consultations: Plan ahead for travel requirements and next steps.
- Quality of life consultations: Have a compassionate conversation about your pet’s comfort and care as they age or manage a chronic condition.
Virtual appointments are particularly helpful for pets with minor injuries, such as scrapes or cuts; or to discuss existing or new areas of concern such as behavior, nutrition, chronic disease care, and senior care.
